These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Medhaverse (“Service”), operated by Medhaverse Edutech LLP. By creating an account, or by adding a child as a learner, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.
1. Who can use Medhaverse
- You must be 18 years or older and the parent or legal guardian of any child you add.
- You confirm that you have the authority to consent on behalf of each child you add.
- Children may use the Service only through a learner profile created by their parent.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure, for keeping each child’s profile credentials private, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at hello@medhaverse.in if you suspect unauthorised use.
3. What Medhaverse provides
Medhaverse offers AI-generated tutoring grounded in official Maharashtra State Board (Balbharati) textbooks for Grades 6 through 10. The Service includes diagnostic assessments, chapter-aligned content, one-on-one chat with an AI tutor, practice papers, and progress dashboards for parents.
AI-generated answers can occasionally be incomplete or wrong. Medhaverse is a study aid and is not a substitute for a qualified teacher, certified examiner, professional advice, or formal schooling. Always cross-check important information with the original textbook or your child’s teacher.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for anything illegal, harmful, deceptive, or that violates someone else’s rights.
- Attempt to disable, circumvent, or interfere with the security or integrity of the Service.
- Use automated scraping, crawling, or harvesting of content from the Service except as we expressly permit.
- Submit content that is unlawful, hateful, sexually explicit, harassing, or violates intellectual-property rights.
- Re-sell, sub-licence, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without our written consent.
- Allow anyone other than your own children to use a learner profile you created.
5. Intellectual property
Medhaverse and all related software, design, and content (excluding third-party textbook material owned by their respective publishers) are owned by Medhaverse Edutech LLP or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial educational use by you and your children.
Textbook excerpts shown inside the Service are reproduced under fair-use educational principles and are the property of their respective publishers (e.g., Balbharati for Maharashtra State Board materials). You may not copy or redistribute textbook excerpts outside the Service.
6. Fees and billing
Medhaverse offers a free tier and paid plans. Pricing, included features, and any usage limits are presented at checkout and on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Paid plans renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the parent dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we do not refund partial periods unless required by law.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service (in whole or in part) if you breach these Terms, if continued provision could harm us or other users, or if required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account from the parent dashboard.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated answers will be accurate or complete.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Medhaverse Edutech LLP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim or (b) INR 1,000.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Medhaverse Edutech LLP harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable lawyers’ fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
11. Changes to the Service or the Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these Terms; if changes are material we will give you reasonable notice before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Service or these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Nothing here limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under your local law.
